I know what your saying and I agree with you. But for a two round fight Ricky took quite a beating IMO.
Ever seen Somsak Sithchatchawal - Mayhar Monshipour? That was a two way beating for a whole fight. (spellings?)
Just been looking elsewhere on this subject as my boxing history is limited, the widely held view is that Dempsey Willard sets the standard I've just watched it.most others have been mentioned but some others Gatti ward a 2 way beating Cotto Gomez Gomez gatti this ones sad Mayweather gatti man he had it hard Holmes ali Pacquiao barrera And a Jonathan Thaxton fight I'd never seen before
Patterson v Johannsen was one I meant earlier, not a 12 round beating but I remember watching it as a kid and being amazed at what I was seeing Sometimes now we say one bad sustained beating can ruin a fighter but then fighters would fight 100 times or more in some cases, and at the top level fight war after war against a murderers row Man they were hard in them days
That came to mind instantly, but I think it's more out of satisfaction. Klitschko/Briggs is a good shout.
I don't know if its already been mentioned but Lewis/Tyson was as one sided as it gets, took a lot of punishment that night did Mike and the knockout punch was brutal.
