Which of these upsets shocked you more? Price/Thompson or Khan/Prescott?

Would have to disagree really the guy has beaten two world champions and was very close to beating Mike Alvarado too. Not the best but decent none the less.

    Difficult question.

They only picked Prescott because he was unbeaten and had a pretty looking record..... he's not even a particularly hard puncher at all, but Khan had been stuck on his arse by Limond and Gomez....

Thompson at least had a bit of form, i.e. only losing to Wlad.... Price folded like a deck of cards in the Olympics.

The surprise with him was how easily he went.

Khan v Prescott shocked me more, I'd never even heard of Prescott, then he comes into the ring, bam 60 seconds later, khan is folded in a heap in the corner.

Prescott, more unknown, Khan is better than Price and it was far more brutal and it was on PPV.

I think with Pricey there was always question marks, I suppose with Khan there was too but with it being a low weight and with Prescott seemingly being a 'foreign opponent' with a padded record it was a big shock. Tony Thompson has basically only lost to Klitschko in his career and is a well known heavyweight.

Khan had been knocked over by Gomez and Limmond previously, it was hardly surprising he was going to go down again

    Definately Price Thompson.

One because I was already convinced he was world champion in the making, and two because it was the softest looking punch iv seen that has ended in a KO.

    Prescott walloped Khan tbf..

Pricey. He had been punch perfect so far and Tony came in heavy. Prescott had a high KO record so we knew he was capable of hurting Amir.

Me and about 8 of my friends were all packed into the living room for the Khan fight and we laughed are asses off.It wasn't so much the knock out that was funny,it was all the hype, the pay per view pageantry and then Khan goes in there and gets wiped out in 54 seconds. The look on Frank ****** and co's faces was absolutely priceless.

Was it shocking??not really,I always felt Khan was an accident waiting to happen. The same goes for Price, the Tony Thompson fight didnt suprise me at all.

    Khan

With price I knew his chin was diarrhoea. You don't get violated in the amateurs as many times as he did if you have a decent chin

Khan because he was so heavily hyped and brutality of the finish.

Prescott was a marking time fight, for him to stay busy and not expected to be test at all. Prescott literally took his head off and left him unconscious

Price was fighting a world class fighter, and it was not a brutal finish. It was the finish that was rather lame. Just a clipping punch. It was also a finish that you could see coming. He kept on lining up the right hand over the top of the low and lazy left hand, and Price was not ad******g to protect himself from it.

I cannot say really. On paper neither was that surprising but the Price one was more surprising but at the time I was a bit shocked about the Khan loss.
