When Fury gets hit by a REAL heavyweight he is staying down ...

I think he was a bit shook, but he didn't look like he was really struggling to me. He moved forward and was jabbing just after the KD, but I do think he was trying to buy a bit of time though.

Some of those are really debatable but Scott? hahaha. Hes a good boxer but his power is very poor.

 

He looked to be out for a good 6 seconds. So in reality he was 4 seconds away from being considered "a hype job" or "an overly protected bum" by the masses.

 

Not hating but Chisora was a fat**** for that fight, the version that gave Helenius a beating would KO Fury. Johnson didnt land ****, Fury gave him boxing lesson. At the end of the day there is no smoke without fire and Fury has weak punch resistance, he more than makes up for it with his heart. From this point onwards he has to fight more disciplined or real heavyweight will put him down for the count for sure.

 

At the moment,the top 5 have a good chance IMO.Fury beats them all from Arreola down,apart from Scott and Wilder,who I make 50 50.In 2 years time,Furys chances get better,I think.

 

we are talking abou real heavyweights with punching power. two things both guys you mentioned have not at all. Also Chisora was way too fat in order to be a threat to any good heavyweight. And we all know Johnson comes not to fight when he faces a strong opponent.
I dont say Fury is bad. For me he is still a good heavyweight. But one thing is true... Till now Fury faced not ONE good (in shape) and powerful heavyweight.

 

Regardless of his chin, it's his defence that lets him down and will be his ultimate undoing.

it's True, I for one get real tired of people that don't like objectivity, like school boys who's favorite player is being critised. Fury is entertaining and he's likable because of his stupity, BUT this is Boxing and we are Boxing Fans and we are allowed to discuss fighters ability.

I like Fury but that doesn't stop me from being honest!

and honestly he is mediocre, and the first hard punching S-HW who is near enough his height & reach will shatter the Tyson hype. Bye!

 

After Canada's Bermane Stiverne wins the WBC title he'll likely give Fury a shot, and then totally and methodically dismantle the towering git. Stiverne will knock him down in the 2nd round, beat him up in the third, knock him down twice in the 4th, before stopping Fury with seconds left in the 5th. Fury will have to be carried back to his dressing room by his entire family. The only way this scenario does not play out is if the British referee allows Fury to play octopus all night and maybe hits Stiverne himself when his back is turned.:yep

The thing is if you look at the guys who are rocking & dropping Fury they aren't noted punchers. How many of them have a KO% of 60% plus?

It's hard not to think that when a power puncher lands the shots Pajkic, Firtha, Chisora & Cunningham landed that Fury will be able to take them
