115-112?? Was closer. Martinez looked SHOT! Alot slower. Credit to Murray though. He came in with a good gameplan. Martinez won by 2 pts imo by taking 11th and 12th.

 

Partially Murray being better than everyone thought, partially martinez being old.

He lacks basic boxing fundamentals, his speed and athleticism is what makes him great. Now he's getting older his body is wearing tearing, its catching up with him. Soon in he will get old in the ring and not have basic skills to keep him self together. He does have a ton of hart and will.

 

Remember the old saying if a fighter keeps getting hit over and over with right hands it's time to retire.

 

Murray was better than people thought he'd be, he fought well. Martinez did look worse than he has done though, of course.

 

I don't use the word often but I think he's shot.

 

Saw a bit of it and Martinez did look off. TBF, he looked fine against Barker & Macklin and they still gave him problems. Gotta give credit to Murray. Is still sad seeing Martinez like this one of the few fighters I'm pumped up to see once they are fighting. He looked declined. I think Murray still would've given him some trouble but not as much. Both guys gave their hearts and deserve respect for their performances even if age may be catching up to Serge.

 

Close fight but martinez took it by winning the last 2 rounds for me . Martinez struggles badly against fighters with high guards and when he has to lead . He's definitely slowed down his workrate and movement has diminished . He needs to fight offensive fighters in his last couple of fights quillin would be a brilliant fight
