Martinez (it would've been a draw with the extra point from the "uncounted" 2nd KD), but he looked disgraceful.
Murray, clear decision. Sergio didn't land anything meaningful all night and Murray landed pretty much all the best punches and made Martinez look like an amateur at times. Sergio's age may have caught up with him and all respect to his achievements, but it shouldn't mean a young upcoming fighter gets robbed.
I had Murray by a single point (114-113). Could have gone the other way though, like it did. You have to wear union jack tinted glasses to see a robbery here.
Martinez by one point. Guy broke his hand and was rusty as **** from that Julio fight. I'll determine whether he's washed or not from his next fight. He after this performance, he definitely drops 1 or 2 spots from the p4p list.
My card, posted in IB's RBR: Can see the 12th going to Martinez, seem to remember the 7th, I think it was, being very close so that could go to Martinez too without much argument from me. However, I do believe the 2nd "KD" was legit and not a slip/trip as called. Extremely close fight, certainly not a "robbery". Just very close.
Murray won the fight. Most definitely was a robbery, especially with that BS ruling of a no knockdown.
First 4 rounds? Two of them were negated by the first KD, and the second two should have been negated by the 2nd KD that was called a bull**** slip. Call a slow start all you want, but Murray dominated pretty much every round from 6 on and had knockdowns to spare. Sergio didn't do **** except hit air/gloves and feign fouls, and try to play up to the judges atsch
