I liked the fact that he got the job done without his money punch. Helps develop the right hand

showed patience, poise, power in that right, got to the body and yeah, he has a chin

i liked what i saw. Props to both

Yeah, Danny is clearly the top of the division, I don't know what's up with these haters. Danny beat that Mexican hype job tomato can Morales, yet people fault Danny for beating him when Danny was fed for Erik to try and build Erik's given championship. Then he was fed to Khan, who was the top of the division, who before I thought clearly beat Peterson by 1 point and Judah.. Danny tko's him, yet people still faulting him. Then Danny beats Judah by 9 rounds to 3 with a KD, who beat Matt. Don't know what's up.

I think the fight showed garcia is very limited, especially the championship rounds where garcia was on the backfoot and basically froze everytime old judah landed clean.

His best wins are again old shot morales x2, chinny khan and now old judah.

Next person he fight will see he is very limited, his wild hooks can be punished - and will be once he moves up a level in competition. His timing is ok at time and has a good chin with respectable power. But this fight showed more weaknesses than strengths.

Garcia did look good at the beginning showing a variety of punches and not letting Zab get close
His stamina is dodgy though and with him swinging all the time when he misses you can tell it takes alot out of him
Cant wait to see if he fights Matthysse when he wins

Guy won 9 rounds to 3 with 1 KD without his left hook, yet it showed a weakness? :patsch Danny beat Khan who beat Peterson, beat Judah who beat Matt, is making 1.3 million dollars per fight. Deal with it.

I liked his body work, and he's very good at blocking shots with his gloves. Also he has decent power in both hands.

Seems to me that Danny is improving every fight.

Really? They were showing replays of the Danny/Morales fight just before, and I did not see any improvement. He has no head movement and was eating a lot of shots. If he gets in with a power-puncher, he goes down. I was not at all impressed with Danny.

He's an improved but unfinished product. He's essentially good at everything but not great at anything. He has punch variety, a good varied right hand. We all know he has a great left hook, but his right hand was improved. Sometimes he loses discipline and can be a bit open & wild. He's an offensive-minded stalker so he's never going to show perfect defense, but his defense definitely improved. He was blocking Zab's jab down quite a bit. He definitely impressed me, especially early on. I think for all the controversy his father understands boxing and is a good trainer.

However, the later rounds showed he's not the best on the back-foot. Morales was pushing him fairly good in their 1st fight, and while Danny is tough and composed he's not quite as effective when on the retreat. He has top-notch power, game-changing power. His power might be the only thing great. Don't think it's quite Lucas level, though. He also has a very good chin. And he's a huge JR WW. Looked monstrous next to Zab. He needs to improve his jab. I don't buy that Zab took it away. He was hardly throwing it in the 1st two rounds as Al Bernstein illustrated how Garcia was controlling the action without a jab, which is odd.

I scored the fight the same as Tom Shriek: 115-112 Garcia.

He's definitely more than just the hooker I thought he was, most definitely. Zab impressed me, also.

Oh definitely. Judah fought his heart out, feinted and moved, which pushed Garcia and brought out the best in him. He showed intelligence and great instincts.

I feel the same way, he showed that he has a better right hand than people gave him credit for, but I thought he might have been a bit too patient at times during the fight which helped Zab get back into it in the last two rounds or so.

I wasn't even referring to Pacquiao, fight would never happen. I was more looking towards a possible fight with Peterson or Matthysse.
