Is Zab vs Danny worthy of an immediate rematch?

    What do you guys think? I think it was Zab (can't remember if it was Zab or Danny) who hinted that there were going to be a rematch even before the fight. Anyone see the post fight press confernece? Link?

    Both fighters had cuts so you gotta give them a few months to recover, but do you think towards the end of the summer a rematch is in order, maybe this time in Philly or AC or Vegas? Anyone get the feeling like Danny won some of the close early rounds by being the aggressor and bullying Zab? If Zab could land the occasional left hand straight a bit more, I think he could do it. I thought he did well by peppering that jab early but he needs to improve the power on his straight left if he wants to keep Danny off. He did that in the 10th.

    It was Zab who said if he wins he will rematch Danny
    Dont think there should be a rematch it will go exactly the same way
    If Judah is more active early he will get caught he will have to wait again
    Garcia wont get hit as much towards the end but Zab would probably win the last few rounds again
    No point in a rematch

    If it was in the 40's or 50's, they would fight again within 6 mos.
    after their cuts healed.

    The fight was competitive...and neither fighter fears each other.

    But it's 2013, and the "popular" fighter will move on.

    but what's a bigger fight for both men then another fight with each other? name me one fight where the pre-fight buildup was more heated then this one. styles make fights, and highly entertaining and controversial pre fight buildup makes fights. and the fight itself was pretty darn good.

    I think zab blow his chance he could have started earlier with the straight left but was to gun shy younger judah blows danny away. But I think a rematch is worth it zabs got to start earlyer

    No. Zab did a good job coming on strong in front of his home crowd but Garcia beat him convincingly. I'd rather see Garcia fight the winner of Peterson-Matthysse

    Unfortunately, no.

    Judah has become a dangerous gatekeeper/trial horse at the weight class. Only way he gets a rematch against a young fighter with any kind of name is if he wins.

    Judah is out the picture, this is going to be his last big fight for a while. If he doesn't retire which I think he should, he's going to have to rack up a couple victories against good competition before getting another big fight.

    To be honest, I didn't think there was any point in Garcia rematching Morales. Morales fought a good fight in their first one, but he came in over the weight limit and had no shot at winning the title. I think a Zab vs Danny rematch is much more appropriate then the Danny vs Morales rematch. I also would like to see Danny fight the Peterson Matthysse winner, but you can't tell me that Danny Morales II was better then Danny Zab II would be.

    The reason for the rematch vs Morales was for an easy first title defense for Danny Swift. And he beat Morales worse in the rematch and I think he'd probably do the same to Zab.
