the problem isnt he stays too long in the pocket, it is when he gets in he just recklessly rips off four-five punch combinations and hardly any land cleanly. He waste too many punches. its the same he has always done. very amateurish.

 

The problem isn't getting a coach who knows defense. The problem is how on earth to maintain Khan's strengths (blinding speed, high output) while limiting his obvious weaknesses. Khan could and should never fight in the Mayweather style. He isn't a sharpshooter at all. When he is at his best, though, he looks impossible to deal fight. Unfortunately, that's only about 2 rounds every fight. I still think Roach is the best fit for him as coach.

 

Maybe he thinks there is a trainer out there who can train a chin.

 

Khan is dangerous goods. On one hand he's a lightning fast combination puncher, excellent stamina. Seemingly can win fights. Other hand his achillis heel is his terrible chin also he is prone to smart fighting.

Kahn actually moves his right glove AWAY from his face, almost every time he throws a jab.

That's not an incredibly hard thing to fix.

you can't go on talking about philosophical **** to khan like nazim and hunter the boys not smart enough to take it in he's an instinct fighter he needs to fight out of a basic style.
