I think its time for Roy to get some better competition. Im surprised DC called him out cause i thought he was going to try 205. But i think it will be a pretty good fight. Dana said in the post fight conference after being asked about the fight. He said "Well there ya go"

Id probly say DC by decision. You can NEVER count out Roy with his right hand.

What you yall think about them two fighting?

Like he hasn't been given the opportunity before? He doesn't deserve **** IMO. He knocks out mid-tier heavyweights and has failed with every step up in competition his entire career.

Lost to Rothwell, lost to Arlovski, lost to dos Santos, lost to Mir, battered by Werdum. And he has the nerve to ask for a title shot. Despicable.

Cormier wont help his stock with this fight. If you beat Nelson you're supposed to because he is fat. If you lose to him you lost to a fat guy.

Well, most folks like you and I know this. It's not going to be a pretty fight for Cormier, which is why it should raise your eyebrow. He's willing to take on an extremely dangerous fighter, where if he wins he probably wont look that good.

That's a real mofo right there. Daniel Cormier has my respect.

I imagine it would probably go something like Mir/Nelson.

I'd love to see Nelson V Hunt.
On another note looking at the flab on Cormier and Nelson, they could get to 205, Roy could possibly go to 185.

Shouldn't he be fighting better opposition. He has just beat Barnett and Mir; Nelson is a step down.

More evidence Cormier cannot make 205, and an easy nights work for DC!

Yep, gotta figure if he could make 205 he'd surely be calling for Jones.

    :hat

Nelson's striking has really improved of late. His accuracy and power is impressive. Cormier looked like garbage against Mir and would have his hands full with the new and improved Nelson.
