Khan showed improvements, but he sorts of needs to be more offensively

Like against Judah, i was pretty sure that Khan could've stopped Diaz, but he tried to play safety first. Which is good, because his defense is better and his IQ actually seems to be going up, he got KD but instead of heart, he showed brain. But it seems to me that they've not been working on the offense so much, because Khan have Diaz wobbled sometimes, but did not follow up. This is where i miss the old Khan. He will be back in December, which means lots of time to work on defense, but also on his offense

With a referee like that(only in England), even you would show improvements.

    What?

Anyway, yeah, I kinda' get what the OP is saying. A lot of people reckon Khan is stuck between two Khans -- the old and new -- and that maybe he's compromising a few things. His main problem is that he's on the physical decline (punch resistence is getting worse) and he's lacking in confidence. That resulted in the fight we saw last night.

He needs to keep that right glued to his face and tuck his chin in. I wish he would watch some Mayweather videos.

Just a jab and Khan's leg wobbles.

I didn't see the fight, but going off everything I've heard, saying Khan has improved is a dubious proposition at best.

Sorry PP,but the only real improvement I saw was that he didnt try to brawl his way out of the silly district, and if we're going to start lauding him for that,we might as well praise Audley Harrison for lasting 70 seconds instead of 30.

I thought Khan was dreadful last night.I wanted him to do well and show improvement but all he showed was a fundamental ability that should already be ingrained in him.
He's finished, and the thought of him calling Floyd a coward and trying to accuse Mexican legends of ducking him gets more laughable by the day.
I thought he'd put on a show last night and he was dreadful.Diaz was a hand picked softish opponent and he went life and death with him.

Khan has the wrong management. He's losing his excitement factor in this Virgil Hunter 'Andre Ward' style which Khan can't execute. Even if Khan continues winning against so-so opponents he's becoming less marketable.

Khan needs to be more offensive. Quit focusing so much on the chin and make the other guy pay first. He's more susceptible in a style that doesn't mesh well with his natural instincts.

Freddie Roach - Make Khan into Pacquiao
Virgil Hunter - Make Khan into Ward

How about Make him into Khan?
