yeah Brooks superior natural body size would be an issue for Khan, also I forgot to say I think credit must go to Diaz too, he was giving it the usual "I'm a better fighter than I've ever been, I know how to win this fight and show that I belong" stuff pre fight, but I think he really showed it last night, I think it was a mixture of a bad performance from Khan (as Barry Jones said, he seemed caught between two styles) and a good performance from Diaz, who did give Khan big credit after the fight

    Nice post ishy :good

Up until here is exactly how I saw the fight up until last night. As I said in the OP, I think stylistically it's a good match for Khan.

However, all these reasons you've detailed here have convinced me otherwise now. Khan seems confused in his style, is taking advantage of his speed even less than against Peterson for example and that is sabotaging any defensive improvements he's trying to make. Personally, I don't think he'll ever be a competent defensive fighter but there was a time at his best when he seemed to be able compensate for that by using his speed effectively to get in and out before an opponent could come back.

He's not doing that now and that presents opportunities for any decent counter puncher. I also don't think he's working the jab as well and opponents' respecting it less is leaving him more susceptible. Plus with Brook being a natural Welterweight, it's fair to worry about Khan takibg his power.

Brook would give Khan a ****in pasting before knocking him out. Khan should forget all about going up to 147.

  4. I love khan and after Judah and even Peterson thought he was elite

But I'm afraid I think Kelly brook would ko amir

Great fight- PPV worthy as they bloody hate each other. As for the fight itself I would see Brook edging it on points.

Carson Jones a guy that was knocking people out at Jr Middle couldn't get Kell out of there so I find it highly doubtful Diaz would.Hes just not a puncher, would Willie Limmond knock Kell Brook out too?

Brooks power is very underrated lmao. Very very underrated. He isnt rated enough in my eyes. Brook just beats whos infront of him. Knocking out people with jabs, ah of course he has no power...

I now think Brook would win, or it would be an extremely close fight.

Brook stops him early. Any counter puncher with power knocks Khan out.

One of Kell's main assets is his timing, as soon as he finds it, game over. Khan just walks onto too many punches.
