Khans biggest problem is not his chin or defense

He was getting rocked from every single left hook that Diaz landed. He might be finished. I really cant believe he looked so bad. I was expecting him to look somewhat improved but he actually looks like he regressed.

He does, I honestly think the whole Garcia thing has affected his confidence, Garcia senior did a number on his personality and junior KOed him.

Khan does get knocked down and hurt but he keeps on fighting, respect to the lad.

I'm just curious, who decides when a boxer is done? It's obviously a tough sport and getting knocked out can for sure be difficult to overcome. But:

    * Was Judah done when he got knocked out years ago? He didn't looked washed up last nite

    * Was Cotto washed up after getting beat up by Margarito? He put on a good showing vs Mayweather and won numerous fights after the Margarito loss

My point is, the great thing about sports is that the athlete determines when he is done.....not critics. There are peaks and valleys in every athlete's career.

He doesn't have power or a good chin for the same reason... his poor posture/stance. Biomechanically it is very poor, he's always on his front foot with his COG towards the edge of his base of support. That gives him good mobility to move forward, but the inverse of mobility is stability. When you have stability you can give and receive a punch a lot better. With his stance the way it is the only hope for a decent punch is the left to the body. His right hand is completely negated by not having any weight underneath it and his chin hangs forward all the time, so more torque can be applied to it. His neck is never supported.
He leans forward moving quickly backwards and forwards in straight lines, throwing arm punches because he never has a central axis or a stable base to throw punches from.
Khan is completely done, he has that terrible stance and technique ingrained now, no trainer can ever change that. At least not when Khan gets in trouble, that's when an athlete always reverts back to their ingrained technique.

Khan gets a lot of flack on here, but I don't think he gets enough. He is one of the worst fighters I've ever seen get to this level, he has over achieved massively.
