He proved nothing, yeah he was brave but an ancient Vitali was hurting and dropping him with lazy arm punches. Brave, but still a bum.

He was still overweight in the Vitali fight, if you can call that being in shape the I really don't know what to say. Also "dynamo", ""forced Vitali to cheat"? I think you may have watched a totally different fight, he was outgunned and bossed by Vitali, many levels below him. Plodding forward throwing nothing punches does not automatically mean you are competetive.

Charr does seem to have this weird little fan club on here, despite him struggling with terrible boxers and getting his ass handed to him the only time he stepped up. I think this is a poor fight for Haye, he shoud be looking at bigger things IMO.

The only people who particularly rate charr are vitali fans.

haye made it quite clear he wants to become wbc mando, charr is high on that wbc list and has been calling haye out.

The fight is what it is, no more, no less.

When did Vitali ever hurt Charr?

The only reason he managed to drop him was because he clubbed him round the back of the head. An illegal move if you need reminding.

    Ranked high by the WBC.

Challenged for a HW title in his last fight.

    Never truly lost.

What's not to like about this fight?

Charr is better than the other 2 clowns Haye was trying to fight. Charr is durable so this is a way for Haye to get a few rounds of work which he needs and Charr has a ranking. The WBC is going to be backlogged anyway so Haye is going to have to wait on a Mand position.

Haye vs Charr is a Rocky story really. Game underdog, cult figure but general no hoper, Charr, verses playboy media darling Haye.

Because Haye is a level under K2. Charr also had a good time with Vitali! I mean why this bull**** stoppage? Why? Because Charr made good pressure in round three and four against Vitali. So they stopped Charr (Vitalis doctor). Charr was bleeding for 30 seconds and they stop him? Without even to give Charrs corner the opportunity to work on the cut? Also it was a very small cut. Charrs corner said the could have closed the cut easy. BULL****!
Charr is not a bum. He may not be the greatest fighter. But he is good. Especially he is good enough for Haye who himself did nothing great at heavyweight.

Of course, Haye will be the odds-on favorite, but that's not the point.

Charr deserves this opportunity, and he will likely be a much tougher opponent than the absurdly over-hyped Chisora was. If Haye beats Charr convincingly, even Haye's worst critics will have to give him some credit.

I see it like you. It is very strange why Charr gets so much hate here.
Just look at Hayes heavyweight resume. His best wins are Valuev (he was crap at that time) and Chisora.
Charr lacks speed and world class skills. But this guy comes to fight was never hurt and CAn performe on a good level if he is in shape.
For me he made a good fight against Vitali before this bull**** stoppage came. I really belive they looked for an "easy escape" for Vitali. I NEVER saw such a stuipid ass stoppage in a heavyweight World title fight.
Look at Arreola his nose was a bloody mess and he had a big cut over his eye. Yet he was able to go 12 rounds. Or Abraham fought with a broken jaw! And was bleeding VERY bad.
But Charr gets stopped because he bleeds for 30 seconds? BULL****!
But still people say he is a bum and not good enough for Haye (WHO is Haye?:!:). This is just stuipid nothing more.
