This is a joke. £11 for a bloke who most people have not heard of plus it's going head to head with Ricky Burns on Sky.

Dennis Hobson is taking the ****.

This might not even do a 1000 sales.

I do feel for McDonnell, he's in the biggest fight of his career and it will only be watched by a handful of people. If it was a fiver I may have got it but £10.95 stinks of a rip off.

Honestly no disrespect to McDonell or anyone on this card but this PPV was worth about £5 at the most, reason being? McDonell despite being a very solid fighter is barely known so the idea of this PPV having more than maybe a hundred or so buys is simply naive and ludicrous.

I think primetime and Hobson have ****ed up here they are robbing people expecting them to pay 11 quid for a fighter unproven at world level and i hope you weren't banking on there being many buys as the Burns V Gonzales fight is on at a similar time, i expect this PPV to fail miserably in regards to buys and unfortunately for McDonnell to suffer due to his biggest fight barely getting viewed all because either primetime or someone else was a little bit too unreasonable with their expectations and greed.

A real shame. I want to see this fight but I just can't justify paying £10.95 for it, especially when Burns is on at the same time.

  8. Primetime haven't set the price. Hobson has.

Hobson is just using their channel, all the production is his.

Guys just to be clear, we haven't set the price or had any input in that. This is not a Primetime production, all we are doing is providing a retail outlet for Hobson Promotions to sell their event, essentially we've just rented them the platform in order for them to get the event on TV.

That's what Hobson Promotions are calling it, as I say we're not involved in this event apart from providing them a retail outlet
