I've not been a fan of Prizefighter from the start but that's down to personal opinion and there are people who seem to enjoy Prizefighter. But yeah if it's seen as a mid-week added extra I don't think there'd be too many complaints.
You'd hope Prizefighter wouldn't get the undercard slot but if there's a commitment to show so many then they have to be done sometime.
I have never heard of my casual sports fan friends ever discuss Prizefighter. All the times I've been round when it's been on, none of them have ever had it on-screen.
I have never seen proof that Prizefighter brings in the casual fans, yet that's all I ever hear from its supporters.
I read an article where it said crolla could potentially be facing Gavin Rees when he returns, on a matchroom promotion in Wales.
****in' hell rob, bit strong that isn't it?. Forget being alarmed by your disapproval, Eddie's probably self-harming as we speak.
The couple of times I've watched it it's been an uncoordinated mug-fest with little skill. Audley Harrison has won it twice. That tells you everything.
I shall unwind with a nice book whilst I drop a Charr in the bowl. I'll wipe my Haye when I'm done and then settle down to watch the complete drubbing David will give young Manuel.
Fair point, I'm keeping a low profile with Audley, I may have backed him to beat Wilder. :blood What I find worrying is the amount of people on here saying its a great idea to have it as an undercard, I can't fathom why on earth people like it, the whole concept and cheapness of it is ghastly.
