Ortiz vs Maidana 2

    Lets assume Ortiz is back in form after Dancing With the Stars and the Jaw surgery

    Keeping in mind that Maidana has new, better technique and Ortiz's heart is by no means "better" as the Berto fight lead most to believe (if Berto didn't get knocked down in the 6th, Ortiz would have quit by the 8th)

    Who wins a rematch?

    It is really hard to tell how much the ring rust will affect Ortiz. I'd still back Ortiz, though by a close UD.

    Maidana would **** him up again, great fight but Maidana is mentally tougher and would survive some bad moments and come back with even harder shots.

    Basically this would be a repeat of the first fight.

    Maidana would beat him again. He'd be able to replicate and even improve upon Lopez's success.

    It could very well happen, Lopez isn't as crude as Maidana. Regardless still a ****ing war, props for both guys for taking this fight.

    Maidana-Ortiz was a classic. Shame the way things turned for Ortiz. He's not purely hype. The kid has loads of talent and potential.
