Haye beats everyone apart from Wlad and Wilder
He probably beats Vitali at this point because that guy has been looking like **** recently

Thought Povetkin was the heir apparent before Huck lasted the distance and gave him a fight. Was surprised at that.Haye could possibly outbox him,no knockout, though.Pulev a proper beast,I think. The amateur background and done nothing wrong as a pro.Whichever of our heavies could beat him,and its a tough ask, stands a chance with Wlad IMO.More likely to be Fury in 3 or 4 more fights than David I think.

I'd say that he wins both. I want to see him head into the latter rounds after a tough fight to see how his stamina holds out. I'm sure he looked tired against Chisora albeit after a while out.

Haye would be a live underdog against both. Pulev's like a poor mans Wladimir minus the phenomenal footwork and deadly one punch stopping power. Haye Pulev would certainly be no classic to watch with Pulev strictly and strategically staying behid that ram rode of a jab of his while Haye stays on the backfoot pot shotting and darting in and out with a clear game plan to eck out a points wins. I would lean towards Pulev taking this by one or two points but Haye certainly has a chance of nicking it. Whoever has home advantage could be key.

Haye vs Povetkin is a terrible match up for Haye. Especially now so that Povetkin got the kick up the arse scare against Huck who has similar power to Haye and practically identical in style to the old CW version of Haye. After the disaster team Povetkin made in hiring Teddy Atlas that mistake seems now to have been rectified with the shrewd appointment of Tzyu as coach who seems to have brought back the old Povetkin of old which could be seen during his destruction of former lineal and undisputed champ Rahman inside two rounds. Having witnessed how well Povetkin delt with old Bryd and prime Chambers we can see that Haye's major asset footspeed wont be such a threat here. Now that that advantage is taken away we have to wonder can Haye deal with the divisions elite pressure fighter with relentless will and agression? It doesn't look good for Haye. Likely Haye plays it safe and trys to stay on the backfoot looking for that one hail Mary shot while Povetkin rakes up the rounds. Povetkins takes this comfortably on points possibly even stopping Haye late due to an accumulated wear down. Haye has a punchers chance here, nothing more.

You seem to pretty down on all british fighters from what i see. Not sure why.

Povetkin has done nothing to suggest he would be favourite. Against everyone other Wlad at h/w, Haye has executed a game plan using his speed and power to create angles and box to victory or smash them to bits. Povetkin would be a challenge, but favourite? no way.

Povetkin was badly wobbled by Huck and you could quite easily make an argument Huck won.

    Steve Cunningham KOd Marco Huck.

I don't see Haye having any problems at all vs Povetkin :good

Pulev is an unknown quantity, he has yet to beat anyone of any significance and his best wins have been 11th or 12th round stoppages.

Audley Harrison has also KOd some of Pulev's recent opponents from the last 24 months (Rossy & Sprott) quicker than he has. Pulev went the distance with Travis Walker during that time too who has been KOd many times including by feather fisted Cruiserweight Adamek.

So I think we CAN safely say Pulev has very meagre punch power :yep

And to be honest fearsome hevyweight punching power & imposing height (like Wlad or Valuev) is the only thing that keeps Haye honest.

    Pulev has neither.

Haye would KO Pulev too :good

He's back to save the division!!

Povetkin was a good fighter 5 or 6 years ago but he's done nothing in recent years to impress anyone. Don't be fooled by the silly WBA belt. There might be half a dozen or a dozen heavyweights around today who'd beat Povetkin.

Pulev might definitely be better than anyone Haye's ever beat. I wouldn't want to bet on the outcome of that fight.

I love to see David Haye **** off and retire for real, but I guess we're stuck with him for a while longer.
