He should have an easy fight, stylistically. It could be an exciting one, too.

This all depends on how much Pacquiao's declined.

A primed Pacquiao would beat the living **** out of Brandon Rios, it'd be similar to the Diaz fight.. with Rios face down on the canvas.

Rios aint a bad opponent. Even with his decision loss, he still has a stoppage win over Alvarado. Pac Rios will make for an all out war and a look into how Pac will recover from his ko loss. Id rather see this than Pac Alvarado.

Wouldn't surprise me, Arum has no qualms about matching Pac with guys coming off losses.

is it a smart fight for Manny? His first fight and he is fighting a brawler. It could be very difficult.

I'd much rather see Alvarado than Rios. I'd give him a slightly better chance. Pac takes out either pretty easily, in my opinion.

:nono No matter how much he declined he will beat the **** out of Rios, rios is c+ level fighter with c- level skills, 30% of what Pac used to be is still much better than Rios ever was.
Can not believe boxing fans ever hyped Rios:patsch

    Manny Pacquiao vs Brandon Rios
Juan Manuel Marquez vs Timothy Bradley
    N. Alvarado vs Provo:

That's basically how it's going to go down.

Brawler with no foot speed and no footwork you, sorry but if you think Rios will be able to make Pac brawl you are crazy, Pac will land whole combination and get out before Rios even realizes what happened!!!

Rios is a good idea. Rios is good enough to be able to hit Pacquiao with some big shots so Pacquiao can restore long-term confidence at receiving punches, but Rios is bad enough to not be able to have a chance in hell at winning as Pacquiao DOES have a good chin.
