Mandatory fight. Hate the boxing organizations, don't hate Vitali for defending his strap.

Stiverne shouldn't last long. I guess this is an okay fight to retire on.

I don't think this fight is sad for boxing. Stiverne show vs arreola that he has a big pop and got a very good jab. Who knows with vitali's age, stiverne might give vitali a run for his money. And btw its not vitali's fault that haye once again refuse to fight vitali when haye was giving a chance to but instead went on a different direction.

I think you missed the point of the thread entirely. Vitali's saying he'll actually fight his mandatory not duck him, silly boy.

    Whose is better???

Wlad has how many titlists on his record??????

10....yes 10 former or current world titlists.

A little better than the bum of the month club Joe Louis can brag about.

And Foreman, while having a singular better name in a win(s) over Frazier, just doesnt have the quantity of quality wins outside that.

Marciano could be argued, but realistically, only Louis stands head and shoulders about anyone Wlad has beaten, and having 12,13 of Louiss fights on film, Ive long lost my nostalgia bias. Bert Sugar DKSAB:deal:deal:deal

    :happy

It will be like Larry Holmes vs Tex Cobb all over again. How many jabs and straight rights can Bermane eat before he folds?

Vitali's resumé is far better than Haye's :nono

Haye is 1-1 vs top 10 ranked guys at HW.

Nah, Stiverne is actually a decent choice. He's the only guy not named Klitschko to beat a top 10 ranked HW in recent years (apart from Chisora who got robbed vs. Helenius and whom Vitali then went on to fight).

It makes sense for the champ to fight a contender who has proven himself worthy by beating another contender.

Why didn't Haye take the shot when it was offered?

What you forget about though is, that there was a time when there weren´t 4 organizations handing out their belts to some paper champ.

prove it was offered.....Boente always says the opposite to vitali so lets see it.

did the fight have options like...beat me fight my brother, mother and grandpa on the same night then get in a cage with a tiger and stick your **** in its ear?

Cause he wanted to fight Chisora first, wouldn't have been smart of him to fight Vitali after being inactive for a year.

Regardless, the situation is different today, Haye dispatched of Chisora and created big demand for a showdown with Vitali so why not make the fight? I understand if he wants to retire and go into politics but why talk about fighting Stiverne?
