Anyone think Guerrero can pull off an upset this weekend?

Ortiz didnt do ****. We all knew the plan but he got nowhere near executing it.

Cotto tried to do it in a more measured approach, cutting down the ring, using good footwork, feints & ring smarts to try and back Floyd up.

I don't think Guerrero will be that measured.

Sorry, what's your point? I was saying that Ortiz tried to overwhelm Floyd and all it did was given Floyd opportunities to smack him around. That's the entire point. A much bigger guy, with more power than Guerrero couldn't put a dent in Floyd.

Beating Berto doesn't do anything to convince me that mauling tactic will work on a guy as well-schooled as Floyd.

It's not incomprehensible. I don't see Floyd having any easy fights at his age. I think he'll win a decision but it won't be the walkover/domination many are predicting.

Guerrero's game plan could go out of the window if the ref stop and breaks up the close pressure he will try to put on Mayweather. Hatton was trying to use his "rough em style" but cortez just wouldnt let him get close for long enough which allowed Mayweather to pick and move. Even though he has aged you cant let Mayweather do that still as he will make it easy work. Guerrero wont get away with what he done with Berto. I can see glimpes of pressure early on the then frustration in the later stages from Guerrero leaving himself open. Mayweather to win by stoppage 10-12 or UD but has it tough for 3/4 rnds.

My point is Ortiz is ****ing nut job,, it wasn't exclusively Floyd that stopped him executing the game plan, Ortiz contributed massively by freezing come fight night & being a complete tool.

Guerrero can apply pressure in a much more effective way than Ortiz could never dream of.

    No he can't.

That's why Floyd is fighting him.

I don't want to take anything away from Guerrero, he's a decent fighter, but I'm not sold on the overall quality of most of his record.

Money is probably the best he has or will ever face, even for a title holder this will be a massive step up.

I see Floyd being just too big and too good. Maybe go to points though.

I got 350 vCash on this one :)

There's a reason why this fight is happening... It's because Floyd can't lose.

I think the Ghost can win...but he needs to knock Mayweather out.

It's possible, but don't forget, Guerrero is a featherweight, Void owns the referee and judges. Guerrero will have to knock Void out to get a draw..........

If Mayweather gets old overnight than sure he can win.

Problem is there is nothing he does that Floyd cannot do better. I expect Mayweather to outbox him over 12.

Oscar's only tactic was to try to rush and overwhelm Floyd

    Nearly worked too
