at the moment... not really. heavyweight is not so good. super middle weight and light heavyweight and cruiserweight are good. we have some good heavyweights. hell at least better than the heavyweights australia has. Yesterday I saw a video of Browne against a guy named Collins. He is terrible. Slow as **** no defense and terrible footwork. Maybe he has power (who knows till now he only knocked out bums)
It is just a fact man. Cant you see when a fighter is not good? Do you really think Browne could make any noise in the division? Charr "the german tank" "the colossus from Cologne" would **** him up. Also Wallisch (best german prospect) or Terper are on a different level. I know the truth hurts but dont call me a troll because I can see when a boxer is good or not. I did not started this country bull**** you did! I just commented about a poster and you came up with this post.
DeMori is not even fighting journeyman. Because even the european journeyman level is way to high for him.

Just the truth. If you cant see it it is not my problem. I really dont get the hate against DeMori and at the same moment people call Browne the "great hope". Both are nothing special and are fighting low opposition. I really dont see a big difference between them, Maybe you can tell me why Browne should be better than Demori?
Even some people here said the Toney win is a good win. :!:

leapai is bout the best we got in australia, then daylight, then browne etc, and leapai is still learning, but havn a go, fights jouneyman to keep goin cause the likes of demori(who fought when both were novices) wont fight him, hate to admit it,but aus hasnt had a decent heavyweight division in decades

Browne has a trainer and a reasonably specific short term list of goals. Whether they are achievable or not is another question.
I think most people see Browne as an active fighter on the move, therefore he probably is our best HW hope. This is why the attitudes favour Browne on here, if that answers your question.

Yes leapai is a fighter who already stepped in the ring against good opponents. When he fights it looks good at times. Although he got stopped by Johnson. But why is he fighting no names right now? With this Napari guy it are three fights against low opposition in a row. I mean he is not even fighting journeyman. Why dont fight Journeyman like Airich, Olunkoun, Sprott or others? Are these fighters to much? He wont learn anything by fighting bums.
Leapai is the best australian heavyweight I have to agree. Browne on the otherhand just is not any good just like Demori. So I dont understand why people hate Demori but think Browne is the next great hope.

Is there ambition mentioned for Leapai to fight overseas? If not then Browne has to be considered at this stage our best heavyweight prospect. There are only so many journeyman that can come to Australia for the bother of fighting someone like Leapai for a small paycheck. Beyond that what is the plan exactly for Leapai? For Browne, 3 years in, willing to travel (and was ready to fight the coward Towers) with an unbeaten record screams prospect....without a doubt our best, skill wise, be it what it may. He gets the job done.

He stopped Travis Walker something a fighter like Browne never wil do.
You can say all you want about Travis Walker but he is not a bum and has serious power and decent skills. His problem is that he is not fast, a bad chin and bad stamina. But still he is not a bad fighter.

He is not great. But he would win against Browne. Till now Browne has not even faced a good journeyman. Man his best win is a shot to **** Toney. And you call him the great hope:!:
I admit it I dont like Browne. Especially his promoter. Toney should not be fighting any more. Hell I even cant understand him anymore and he stumbels around the ring and is off balance many many times. Yet promoter pay him money to fight so that theire **** fighters (like Browne) get some attention. I really dont like it. Browne should fight decent opponents to get attention not a guy like Toney who already suffered damge from boxing. Or Browne should show some decent boxing skills to get attention. Problem is that Browne is not a good fighter so he has to fight guys like Toney. I would be VERY suprised if he faces Johnson. I heard Holyfield is next Brownes list.:patsch

You are kidding right. Apart from beating a massively faded Meehan Travis Walker has done nothing in boxing in the last three years and looked woeful in prizefighter. Walker never was anything other than a journeyman with a lucky punch. Browne would destroy him inside 3.
