Fighters you used to love?

James Toney is one that comes to mind, because he just "boxed" it's still fresh.

I really liked him because of his incredible skilllevel.
But then he started to get caught for peds, several times. Got fat and annoying, and kept acting like he was getting ducked because he didn't get titleshots anymore.

Sad demise of a great boxer.

 

These aren't guys I used to 'love', but they are people I used to be a solid fan of:

• Donaire - his personality (and wife) began to annoy me, and post-Rigo he left little to be desired.
• Mayweather - because of his fans and eventually himself.
• Martinez - don't exactly dislike him, but I stopped being a solid fan of his when he started trash-talking and calling out the little guys.
• Guerrero - realised what an ass he was when someone from his team told him it was a good idea to trash-talk.

Then there are those who I hated, and now like:

• Rios
• Malignaggi
• Hopkins
• Broner (although he's on shakey grounds at the moment)

 

I liked Hamed but his delusional fans made me hate him, honestly!

 

fernando vargas- after he got beat down by oscar and got busted wit peds

 

Cotto for all the butthurt he has showed.

 

I don't know, but the exact opposite case for me is Malignaggi.

 

Dirrell.

Not loved, but made me a fan, then not so much anymore (that being an understatement).

 

Floyd - Was a big fan until i started looking closely at his career and realize he does truly avoid fighters who are a threat to him . I used to argue with all of his critics on here and youtube BUT... i had to start being honest with myself , i could not defend him anymore .

Margarito - After he beat Cotto is when i started becoming a fan , I thought to myself "DAMN this guy a machine" , I loved his iron chin and his relentless , exciting come forward style . But all that love QUICKLY went down the drain when i heard about the handwraps .

used to be a fan of Peterson, then we all know what happened. Guerrero - that guy comes across as an dick, always going on about how hard he had it, like we're supposed keep praising him for being a man and looking after HIS kids.

 

I used to like Nathan clev but by **** he dont half bore me now same with bellew, don't hate no fighter really expect khan lol

 

that ***** is annoying as hell, reminds me of Shane Mosley's wife, hope it doesnt ed the same way - nonito better have a pre-nup

 

Was really big Edison Miranda fan, declined hard

 

Ricardo mayorga. When he stopped going balls to the wall an just trashed talked an laid down for a check
