Guerrero has a chance but I see him getting picked a part. He might as well go for broke bc if he tries to play chess he will lose. He could just try and steal rounds which might pay off.

I know that. I just think Guerrero will let his hands go more vs Floyd than he did with Berto or Aydin. I dont see him showing the same respect. In other words he feels like hes faster and hits harder. I think Floyd will gain his respect but not before eating some hard shots himself. Its gonna get ugly in there.

 

I like the picture,too bad Michael Katsidis was a punching bag and Floyd Mayweather is probably one of the greatest defensive boxers to ever step foot in a ring.Robert Guerrero doesn't have a hope in hell of fighting like that against Floyd.

 

I've always had a theory with him. Floyd was ripe for what Castillo did because he wasn't prepared for it. However, he overcame it barely. Now, trying to do it is more or less futile because he's had years practicing how to defend it.

 

Easy fight for Mayweather.

 

Floyd is not eating any big shots. This ain't Berto. That shoulder roll is going to look beautiful on the inside when Roberts tries to lean on Floyd. At long range Floyd is going to pick Robert apart. Also regardless of what Robert brings to the table he needs a knockout to win bc Floyd is not going to just sit there and let a guy pound on him. He will let his ****ing hands go and on top of that he just signed a 200 million dollar deal. If thats not motivation to win this fight then I don't know what is.

 

He's probably going to be in high guard too, he does that to all southpaws.

 

Well Floyd is not going to use it at long range and he uses his high guard against Southpaws unless they are in close bc that angle is gone on the inside. Plus Robert squares up on the inside and Floyd is going to put that Philly Shell on him and shoot some sharp body shots and uppercuts.

The only fighter I seen destroy that **** was Jones against Toney but Jones was in another world in those days.

 

I hope the OP is correct about the Ghost. It will make for a more interesting fight. But people are forgetting Floyd ain't some one trick pony. You wanna have a boxing match, he'll school you. If you wanna make a street fight/wrestling match, he'll happily out-foul you. One of things I love about Floyd is he doesn't look for the Ref to help him. He'll take whatever his opponent gives him and 10 times out of 10 beat him at his own game.

True but he may have to pay a price for that and if Floyd gets caught he will tighten up that defense and not get caught with the same shot. Mosley never got to land a right had after that 2nd round even though he was trying. RG needs a knockout and its either going to have to be a kill one shot or he is going to have to seriously hurt Floyd and land a few more to put him out. I don't see it happening.
