They were wrong about the Peterson holt pay that I know The purse bids were won by the minimum possible in America which I think is 75000 they presumed the fighters pay would be a breakdown from the purse bid Good fight as well between 2 entertaining fighters
The purse bids went for that amount but Peterson & Holt were given more. They probably didn't make 6 figures but it still wasnt 25k

The US works very differently. Allot top rated amateur will turn pro after signing a deal with an investor or group of inverters who act as managment. They will pay the fighter a salary for a set period of time and in return they receive a percentage of the fighters future earnings. When a fighter gets to the top level they will typically buy themselves out of that contact. Mark Breland was a top amateur in the US from the 80s. He signed a deal for a guaranteed $100,000 for the rest of his life which is still in effect.

what were the sacrifices that breland would have to make? did he get the big signing on fee others got?
Few Facts i know for sure: David Barnes got 14K when he boxed Jimmy Vincent for the British title. Matthew Hall got 5K to box Bradley Pryce for the commonwealth
Breland at the time was the fighter everybody wanted they thought he was gonna be the next Ray Leonard. He probably never got a signing on fee.
What the hell is 50,215.37 spent on? Stan johnstons 5 grand is it in the 50 grand training expenses? How much would have manny steward demanded?
