Tecate dropped GBP's as their sponsor for their championship fights after Oscar De Lahoya came out and admitted that the pictures of him dressing in drag/high heels and fishnets were in fact real.
I'm ordering the fight, the only unfortunate part for me though is that I won't be able to record any action like I've been doing for the PPV's since 2007, for the Delahoya-Mayweather fight, since all the VHS tapes that are left are crappy and defected and there are no DVD recorders that I know of yet that can allow a DVD tape to record at a slower, longer distance like the VCR's use to.
When Mayweather fights a real threat, maybe. He likes chooses guys he sees something he can take advantage of, and dodge guys he is scared of, usually speed, Bradley is more deserving than Guerrero, and the fight is more interesting because Bradley has speed, you guys buy whatever they shove down your throats and then give you all that fake hype, if you stopped supporting every fight they would have to give better fights, but they know most of you are simpletons and all they have to do is hype it and you pay
Still unsure on if I'm ordering or going to the theater.. Never saw a big fight in the theater and it's only $18 here.. But I've enjoyed 90% of the big fights at my house, just feels right. Sheeit I'll be undecided until Saturday probably.
I'm watching it at my local movie theatre, it's 10 bucks... was gonna be there anyway seeing IronMan 3 and Pain and Gain :yep I'll top it off watching the Ghost take the "WomanBeater" to the Haunted House of Defeat!!!
:huh my dvd recorder has a 6 hour record mode and the picture quality is great, bought it at Wal-Mart for $129.95 :yep
My stepfather wants to order the fight rather than go to the theater as we've done the past two years. So, I'll be at my folks home.
Gonna chip in with my boys and watch it at a friend's house, if we don't go to a bar. This isn't really a bar-type fight IMO. I'm looking forward to sitting back and enjoying it.
Looks like I'm heading to the movie theater. Don't want to be around a bunch of dumbasses at the sports bar, don't have my usual crew of fight friends available for a fight party. So, looks like catching the fight on a huge screen with some actual fight fans is the best option.
