    Of course he is.
Puritty went the distance with loads of top fighters, while Audley crumbled like a stale cookie everytime he faced someone decent. And of course he has a win on his resume most HW's can only dream of.

Brought a tear to my eye.

But seriously, say what you want about Audley, he had one of the biggest hearts in boxing. Out of his 7 losses, he went on to avenge 3 of them against Williams, Sprott and Rogan. That isn't bad going for a man who has been kicked so many times when he's been down. Two of his losses, against Haye and Price, were against two younger and let's be honest, better and one unbeaten opponents. No shame in losing to them. Wilder, although ****, is far younger and has the air of invincibility you'd expect from a young American heavyweight with 28 wins, 28 KOs, 0 losses. No shame there. Dunno anything about that other fella he lost to, but he looks like he's been in against good opposition anyway.

Fact is, he's an olympic gold medalist, an MBE, former European champion, former WBF world champion, 2x Prizefighter champion, been in some massive fights and probably very, very well off. That isn't a career to be laughed at.

It annoyed me seeing Anthony Joshua laughing and looking smug after Audley got knocked out by Wilder. Show some respect to someone who legitimately won a gold medal eh? :good

I don't care what anybody says about Audley, he was a hero to a lot of people, especially children, when he won that gold medal. He influenced a lot of young fighters and inspired them, none more so than David Haye. David idolized Audley, as did many fighters, they wanted to taste that glory of winning a gold medal. Audley inspired a generation, OK he didn't really go on to do great things in the Pro ranks, but Audley created a legacy and he also leaves a legacy behind. Just ask yourself, would David Haye be where he is today and be as inspired and driven, without Audley Harrison when David Haye was a young fighter looking up to Audley?

I don't think so, and for that reason Audley Harrison did way more for the sport of Boxing than people actually give him credit for. Inside the ring, maybe not, but outside of the ring, in real life - where it matters, he actually did great things for Boxing, and for young people with no hopes.

He inspired and touched a lot of people, which then gave them the inspiration to succeed to.

A truly remarkable, humble, gentle, real, down to earth and great man, if not a great boxer in the pro ranks. It is undoubted how great this man is as a human being.

....and for that Audley was a success, and not even the biggest hater can take that away from him. Nobody can.

...and you know that is a pretty amazing video to.

Touching, but it also brings a huge smile to my face. Audley was always happy, no matter what, and that determination and belief in the face of all the adversity and ridicule was/is infectious.

You got footage of this mate or this him on twitter?. I ain't surprised actually at times the lad retweets things that make me think ''you ain't all the ticket mate''.

Audley's Olympic victory was more impressive that's for sure. I'd like Joshua to do well but starting to wonder if that will last.

At 8:25. You can't really see it because the quality is poor. It kinda looks like he's just smiling there but on TV you could clearly see him bobbing up and down laughing.

Flying without wings is a bit too grandiose. Audley is more of a driving without a steering wheel kinda guy. imo
