From a very young age I read Boxing News, Pro Wrestling Illustrated and Superstars of Wrestling (the forerunner of Power Slam). I attended my first boxing show aged 13, wrestling at 11. One is a sport, one is choreographed entertainment but I enjoy both very much for very different reasons. I have been privileged to write for two mags I adored as a kid and to meet many of my childhood heroes.

See, now I really am spilling my guts. This is all Bunce's fault really.

My phone has a 4.7" 720p screen. I can pick out most detail during a fight if I've got an HD download.

I think allot of people on here made a progression from WWF to Boxing. It's a shame it seems as though UFC is bridging that gap even further these days.

    Haha thanks.

I loved WWF as a kid too. I was given the choice of seeing Michael Jackson live at aintree when he was in his semi prime (ie still the 80s, still a hint of black) or see WWF UK Rampage tour at Machester G Mex.

Now I've got time for Rowdy Roddy Piper but in hindsight that wasn't my best decision...

The only wrestling I ever watched was Big Daddy v Giants Haystacks on a Saturday afternoon.

I'm a tech geek, sir. It's an absolute beast. Year old now, but still more than capable.

I watched Wrestling for a good 12-13 years until Summerslam 2004 when I went to Uni.

Sometimes I see it now and think "this is crap" but not sure if thats just me being older.

Never liked them. Appreciate the engineering, but the tech is often years behind. My HTC looks better, does more and lets me modify it to suit my needs.

And that 4.7" screen makes a huge difference for watching stuff, especially if I don't have my tablet handy.

So someone on a podcast -- which many people watch on their phones -- criticized someone for watching fights on their phone?
