    i dont consider Sullivan or jeffries heavyweight champions. Dempsey is borderline not a heavyweight champion either

    But the sheer number of Larry Holmes makes up for that.
    Guy was 48-0 prior to Spinks and had like 20+ straight Defenses or something.
    If Wlad was like 60-0.. that's different. Holmes also never lost 3 times during his physical prime and offensive prime.

    Wlad's most recent fight: Wach. He's a cheat, but the Wach that fought Wlad would give any fighter in the Top 10 a very good fight, and beat several of them.

    Thompson: Mandatory, and at the same time a good fighter. Showed up 17lbs heavier than he was against Wlad, and KO'd Price. Tough fight for anyone in the Top 10.

    Mormeck: I'll give you this fight, Mormeck isn' great (but then again, no one was jumping at the chance).

    Haye: One of the best heavyweights in the division, I don't think anyone questions that.

    Yes, and soon he will have more title defenses than Larry Holmes. It is possible he could pass Joe Louis as well.

    Wach has literally no skill and just roids and a freakish jaw in his pocket.
    Thompson is BETTER when he is heavier.
    Mormeck is a midget - so small a face-off was not even possible

    The padding is obvious to all

    Sorry Colonel.........Norton would be starched by Peter from either fight, Haye, Thompson, Chagaev, or Brewster.

    Byrd would clown him, and while Calvin Brock and Sultan Ibragimov walked away directly after having been beaten by Wlad, both of them were fine talents in boxing. Both would likely beat Ken Norton.

    I have watched hours of Norton. MOF, I likely have 8,9 of his fights. His biggest wins were almost exclusively using his size to impose himself on his opponents. He worked the jab well and his 1-2 was solid, but it was usually followed by him falling in with his hands down to try to dig to the body.

    Whenever he fought someone with power, who could jab with him, and keep him off their chest, he got starched.

    His leaning in technique wouldnt translate to wins over quality opposition in this era.

    Byrd's title was made out of paper. That wasn't a HW Championship fight, that was a PAPER TITLE fight.

    I ask again; Exactly WHEN did Wlad become the HW Champion?
