Does the fact that Sky are showing Bute v Pascal make the PPV more Acceptable?

I see alot of names but no real quality. I want to watch Froch Kessler and Pascal Bute. The rest is dross. A bunch of no names fighting people we know and being conned into thinking it adds depth to the card.

    Groves vs who!
Ochieng vs some guy who was a name but awful boxer nearly a DECADE AGO!
Bellew in a semi decent fight on paper due to him not being good enough to push on the first time round. We hear about world title fights but we are still waiting to hear of a genuinely worthy name.

I saw the question as personal one. I personally wouldn't pay 15quid to watch one boxing match.

Fair enough! But I think people on here should realise they aiming at casuals not hardcore fans! Sky will hype **** out of it!

    Helinius/Levin
    Piispanen/Rasilla

    gerber/kurtagic
    klappert/ koko murat

    Amar/Glover
    Portman/Booth

ppv each of those to watch froch, answers the question really.

Still if your looking long term, if you want PPV to work, you need to provide value for money. If Froch v Kessler isn't a great fight, or theres a cut, people will feel ripped off.

If it wasn't PPV, then the fight was never happening so not sure why so there is so much complaining.

In the UK. That's the only way Eddie can cough up the cash needed to pay Kessler.

The way the card is shaping up there will be boxing fans watching the football while the undercard is on.;)

Well you couldn't expect Froch to go to his backyard again what with all that volcanic ash and the likes.;)

If this fight was in Denmark, Germany or the UK it would be on PPV. Sauerlands wouldn't have been able to afford to attract Froch to Denmark based on German/Danish TV.

When was the last time a major unification fight to place in Europe?
