If the 60/40 was agreed upon who do you think would have won. What would it had done for their careers. Personally I think any near prime version of Roy has Bernards number physically and mentally. I'm not sure where Bernard would be now if he moved up to face Roy back then and got defeated however.

Roy would have dominated B- Hop. Too much speed and Roy wasn't gun shy at all. Hell if Roy would have let his hands go in their 3rd fight he could have beat B Hop.

3rd fight was funny for entertainment value. It shows that Jones Jr always had the mental edge over Bhop. Hopkins puts up much better performances with younger fighters, yet when a shot to **** Roy was in their with him he was acting a fool.

Roy explained on the Best Damn Sports Show why he didn't take the fight.

"Don King told me he wanted 20 percent off the top, so if he gets 20 and probably 30 from B Hop he makes all the money and he ain't fighting nobody."

I wish it would have happen.

Roy would have taken the fight I believe. Bernard really did price himself out of that one. But that interview had me rolling. I think Bernard would have got a beating if they had fought then. Oh well.

Roy too fast and too slick. Could also match Hopkins in the trenches. 8-4.
