What an above poster said, if he is really hurting for money he should just box a bunch of bums. He could rake in easy cash doing something hes done most of his life and probably be successful beating the bums as well rake in 50-75k a fight or so just because of his name alone, then cash out on some up and comer looking to put a name on their resume.
I ****en love MMA... But Mayorga is the man!! He could come in 20 pounds over weight, land an illegal knee and still get a legit victory!! LMFAO... Mayorga is a funny MOFO... Hell yeah!
What's hilarious is the guy Mayorga was fighting was 0-1, and hadn't fought since losing by 1st round submission in 2009. I wonder what Din Thomas, who is 25-9 now, would have done to him in 2010.
yeah it was a joke, i respect MMA, but boxing needs Mayorga! this is not his territory, but we will never know what goes in madmans head :smoke
But mostly balls in face while they wear underwear. When the fights are on the ground it has to be the most unpleasant sport to watch out of anything. And the stand up game is like watching two journeymen boxers scared to engage. I truly do not understand that 'sport'.
Check the date on the video. 20 pounds heavier and many years older... and Mayorga still had much better stamina than the other guy!
Not liking MMA is a matter of personal preference but putting the word sport in quotation marks and implying that MMA isn't one is just silly. Feel free to look up the definition of sport (I have even helpfully provide a link below) and construct a coherent argument as to why MMA isn't one. I would very much like to hear it. http://oxforddictionaries.com/definition/english/sport
