He weighed in above 200 more than a few times.

But he would of course be great for his career as a whole.

There are many different ways to become great. Being the number 1 heavyweight for 7 years running is one of them ways.

But to address the thread, Moore has a decent shot of defeating each of the guys listed.

Patterson is miles above Haye though.

And Archie was about 212 years old at this point, he wa at the point in life he should be getting up at 6am to get his morning papers, and the age where its alright to watch random kid football matches without being seen as a pedophile.

I don't really see the comparison on this fight.

    I'd say Moore KOs Haye.

Moore definitely has a horrible style for Haye given their respective physical abilities. Moore counter-punches this guy out I think.

For sure, although I did used to think Haye was almost Burley-ish in style, but that thoughts didnt last long.

The trashtalk between Moore and Booth would be interesting though,

Moore did not have the best chin out there, and he was agressive. So his toughest match ups are with the punchers.

I think he would lose 3-6 times vs the above guys with the losses most likely comming from Brewster, Ibragimov, Haye, and Chagaev.

The Chagaev Wlad fought was pretty bad.

I would expect him to beat any of them, but not all of them, if you understand what I mean.

You should refrain from claiming he's a great till he wraps it up. Can you see him going into Russia to fight Povektin under another promotion? I certinaly dont...

I think he'd have trouble counter punching Haye, given Haye's an outboxer who's 3 inches taller/rangier, faster and doesn't make many mistakes. I'm the sure the 'set traps' line will be dragged out, but it's very difficult setting traps and not getting caught out yourself against someone quicker who looks to potshot

All that aside Haye's forearm is probably the size of Moore's leg, the strength differential would be huge.

Of course they had skills. A guy like Tony Thompson had some skills.

Wlad fought Sam Peter twice, and both times Peter was in good shape and applied real pressure. The first fight was a CLEAR win for Wlad, despite the knockdowns.
The second Wlad Klitschko-Peter fight (the one McGrain listed in OP) was an impressive and easy win for an untroubled Klitschko.

Conversely, Toney was outboxed by an improved Peter in their second encounter. Toney couldn't overcome the pressure and strength.

Peter was finished when Wlad rematched him, unless you want to claim he wasn't, in that case Hilenius beat him far more convincingly than Wlad did.
When lower tier guys are beating Wlads best wins better than Wlad himself, what does that say about the champ and his greatness? It says he's not that great at all.

TT may have some skills but not a whole lot. The manner in which he ko'd Price , I can only conclude Price was never or will never be anything in the sport untill/if he can redeem himeslf.

Even considering that you are deliberately exaggerating, that´s a laughable thing to say.

When Patterson beat Moore he was probably at his peak.Small heavyweight,no match for Liston, who mopped up the division and was a terrific fighter. But look what he did to Cooper, who I think would have given David hell, and a few others since. For me,Moore beats them all.And so does Harold Johnson.
