    Ponce De Leon is drilling the left hand in low as Mares takes short hops to either side and paws the jab. Mares backpedals away from a lunging left uppercut by Ponce De Leon, then collapses on him with a clapping combo as Ponce De Leon covers up. Overhand right by Mares. Ponce De Leon crouches and springs up with a hard line drive left. Jabs and hacking rights by Mares pressing in, clambering up over Ponce De Leon's guard and brushing his rat-tail. Ponce De Leon is side-swiping with his southpaw jab while crab-walking to Mares in a low crouch. Body shots by Mares, borderline low. Mares paws with the jab on the outside. They work together and both land, Mares with the left hook and Ponce De Leon with the big overhand left up top.

    10-9 Mares, slightly.
