Mayweather has underrated power

This, he's also accurate. He hits guys and they never get a chance to answer back. It's sad a 36yr can get off first against a guy supposedly in his prime. Floyd hurt his hand because he was landing at will 60% power shots, that's ridiculous. Had Guerrero hurt once but couldn't get him because the bell. He's no power house but his speed, reflexes, accuracy and counter ability keep guys honest.

 

His right hands are very powerful.

 

Floyd has the power of 3 year old. He just faces slow Mexicans to make him look better. Vernon Forrest would of ate him up. If Floyd had the balls to step in the ring with Julian Jackson he would leave the ring in a body bag. Pernell Whitaker would of boxed his socks off. Mayweather is good enough to beat slow talent Hispanic and Latino figher the good ole USA puts on a pedestal that and nothing more.

 

He has slightly below average power at welter and jr. welter...but he is still very effective against the comp he is currently fighting...

I agree that mayweather power is underrated

 

It's not just power that makes his opponents hesitant. It's feinting, unpredictability, punch variation (once he found a home for that right downstairs, Guerrero didn't know if it was coming high or low) speed, and above all else, simply not wanting to get caught every time you open up, counterpunching skills.
