Abner Mares is a Top 10 P4P'er

Yeah, he did good with that ambush style of boxing he did last night. I'll admit, I wrote him off based of the Moreno fight, but he impressed.

 

Has a PFP-type list of names in a short amount of time. Cant criticize his opponent selections one bit. Skilled guy and always gives his all can't ask for more. Will try to see PDL fight and of course he's a pFp fighter and with how he's going a deserving HOF one too.

Darchinyan, Agbeko, Moreno and PDL is a tough list, fully deserving of top 10 status

 

The fact that you wrote him off based on the Moreno fight where he looked good beating a guy that nobody looks good against Just shows how little your teen girl ass knows about the sport.

As for the thread question you damn right hes top ten the kid always finds a way to win no matter who and what style hes up against if he keeps this up he will be top 5 in the near future.

 

Agreed, he's top 10 for me for sure and was before last night. Guys like him and Froch deserve there place on the list based on resume, despite not being as flashy as the guys around them. They just fight the best every single time and get the job done against a variety of styles. Class act.

 

I think mares can get to rigo with his pressure and relentlessness. I think mares can hurt rigo and wouldnt be surprised if mares stops rigo, mares is a tough sog. But i also think that rigo can win a tight decession but after last night, if they were to fight id favor mares

 

Mares was always a 10 p4p'er in my book, but now he showed the world why he is an elite fighter. Dude just keeps climbing in competition while Donaire was fighting old, shot fighters.
