To bomb rush him in the first two rounds. Floyd needs some time to adjust, fights with judah, mosley and even with guerrero proved that its possible to catch floyd in the first rounds, but you have to be a big pucher with quick hands and every shot should be a power punch, cause its impossible to land on floyd combo or even two punches in the row. This tactic is not elegant, not sophisticated but i dont see anybody outboxing floyd... There are no freaks like Tommy Hearns in the welterweight today, but thats another story...
lateral movements in the first few rounds from a guy with KO power. Sorry to bring it, but the guy who had a chance (and is still probably a small threat) was Pacquiao.
Even current Napquiao would have been ten times more effective than Guerrero The Bum, that's for sure
I kinda agree, another way could be throwing a hard shot at the same time as he does and pray it lands
Pretty much this... Personally i feel the key is effective agressive bullying with 4 punch combinations that mix both head and body At this point in his career may has proven one person will bea floyd and thats father time
It's a different fight entirely. Napquiao likely gets stopped because of his relentless aggression. Napquiao has more success early (as a prime napquiao would have) and then, from about round 5 on, gets picked apart badly. Ghost's boxing ability (which he does have some) prevented Floyd from really tearing on his ass (aside from round 8, where Floyd did indeed tear on his ass)
People overlook Mayweather's opponents are never equal in stamina, most people that try bullying him around gas out eventually, i thnk to beat him you need to be equally skilled you need to be able to have the handspeed to land and the side to side/ head movement to take his right hand away or atleast make him miss most, he'll shut down your offense everytime he lands a right that snaps your head back and when your ready to let you hands go hes out of there, he'll do it repeatedly till your frustrated or go with the UD loss. to have to able to punch or have average power, if he takes your shots he'll just get comfortable and go on the offensive. the only type of style and skill i see that could beat him would be a type of Benitez Style. The movement and hand speed to make chances equal in landing and slipping = a huge 12 Round game of chess. i don't see bradley even tickling May...
