Broner, a much bigger guy, went life and death with PDL. A lot of people say he lost that fight easily. Mares, a smaller guy, beat the ****ing **** out of PDL and stopped him. That says a lot to me.
Was thinking this too while watching the fight. Mares just has more experience than the Broner who fought PDL. I think if Broner fought him again he would fair much better as he has improved since that night.

Horrible comparison. Abner Mares struggled with Agbeko and needed to nut punch his way to a disputed decision. What the **** does it mean to any of their careers? Nothing.

I can't remember a fighter being ranked so highly for doing so little. The guy obviously has talent and he might even live up to people's expectations but right now? I can't put him in the top 10.
