Tiget woods is actually the richest athlete in the world with an estimated worth of 1 billion dollars. floyd just made the most money last year and signed a contract that has the potential to be the biggest of all time. not trying to start an argument just trying to educate.
Not true at all! This has been a rumor thats been handed down from hater to casual fan back too haters. Floyd has always used a variety of defensive techniques that keeps a fighter off balance. such as the shoulder roll, slip , perry , distance , timing, and foot work. He uses all of these techniques very well. He gives a different defensive look through out the fight, which is why fighters have a hard time, timing him and setting him up for shots. Hatton found this out all too painfully when he was lead to believe that Floyd would use the shoulder roll as his primary defense. instead he used a variety that just confused and finally exhausted Hatton to be KOed. The only fighter to adjust to floyd changing defense was Marquez, but he did not have the speed or strength too keep pace. Cotto and De la Hoys also had some success, but only because Floyd was fighting at a higher weight and was forced to pace himself because of the added weight . In short, Floyd has too many defensive tools at his disposal.
Say what you want. Floyd wins every time, all the way to the bank. He makes money the more people love or hate him. And the more critics he has, the more money he makes. He makes money, no matter who he fights. He is the most popular fighter by lite years.
Lol, poor poor Mayweather. I'm sure needs a few more hundred dollar bills to wipe his tears and blow his nose, haha. Look the guy is a top talent. When you take on the mantle of the top boxer, defending your position comes with the territory. It's literally like being a king. You detrone another king for a plot of land, you better expect other warriors to come at you. If anything it's a compliment that we the fans criticize him, and pay him bank to take on all comers.
True, but he puts himself in this situation because he chooses his opposition.I can't really bash him after this fight as he put a clinic on Guerrero.Rigo>bigger Nonito was much more impressive though.
I think Canelo's a good opponent. He isn't anything great, but it's one of the better options from 154 down.
I meant purely in terms of the technical brilliance of the performance. You're not really suggesting I'm saying Floyd actually winning was a better result than Rigo's are you?:huh
Fans have a tendency to go back and look at his history . They see a lot of big fights he could have made to prove himself but yet didnt have the urge to pursue them . Cotto/Mayweather 2007 Margarito/Mayweather 2006 Mosley/Mayweather 2006 Williams/Mayweather , Pacquiao/Mayweather 2009 . Hes wants to walk around claiming hes better than Muhammed Ali but yet whenever an opponent whos a risk to him appears on his radar hes starts to make excuses or take a fake vacation . Floyd nor his fans cant whine or complain , Floyd brings all the negative criticism upon himself .
I'm pretty sure every fight fan out there wants Floyd in the most competitive fights out there. At 147 that's Bradley. At 154 that's Canelo. All we really want is to be see the best beat the best. Floyd gets credit if he beats the best just like everyone else does.
