    His performance was superb!

Its not simply about the opponent(although Gatti was no bum)

But Floyd went out and hammered him for 5 rounds, and made his corner pull him out

Floyd said it himself. Gatti was a C level fighter.

When i think of one sided fights this is always first in my mind

Gatti was a rough fighter but mayweather outroughed him completel in this fight
    Complete domination..

Only a fighter like gatti was willing to go full 12 rounds of that.. What a warrior

What part of "its not just the opponent" did you not read?

    The performance was outstanding.

He beat Gatti,a legit world champ, and who everyone knows was legendarily tough, senseless.

Floyd, whose power and aggression gets no credit, went out and walked right through a tough strong, world titlist.

    Just watch the friggin fight

The fact that some of you guys rate Arturo Gatti as his best win says a lot about Floyd's level of opposition.
