Marquez is just using common sense. I think a couple of things happened. People were waiting to see Canelo and May fight. Canelo proved to be a good fighter for 22 yrs. May continued to prove he is the best P4P, who hasn't lost much. The sad thing about boxing is that most people think this is the best fight you can make and that he's the biggest threat to May ha. The biggest threat is a 22yr old? How weak is boxing right now, in terms of talent? To beat a GREAT fighter, you need another great fighter. Who is GREAT right NOW? 147? 154? The *****s can rest comfortably .

youre a stupid ****. how could you not want him face the best fighter available now? especially after this farce of an opponent last night? i think you would hate for floyd to lose his "O" more than he would. :rofl

caanelo at 22 is a 10 time better oppoent than a 30 year old RG was. he is a 22 year old with 7 or 8 title fights already and 42 wins. its the best fight around, thats why it wont happen

The question is whether he can beat him? Sure Canelo can put up a better performance. Guerreo didn't do **** lol. I called it before they fought. EASY WORK! The only concern for May fans, was his age. Obviously he is still mobile right? The point I'm trying to make is that you need a certain quality to be a real threat to May. Just like in any other sport, you need a GREAT TEAM to beat another GREAT. Good fighters rarely beat great fighters. Maybe some of the young guys we see now, can one day be great. But right NOW, who is?

on one hand canelo is a big compact jr middleweight with heavy hands, but you look an even during the trout fight at times he was getting frustrated an floyd gives a hell of a lot better angles an movement than trout. will canelo even be able to **** cleanly? floyd looked worlds better than he did vs cotto, he wasnt flat, punches sharper, countered way faster. regardless if people say cotto is better than the ghost. best fight in boxinng to be made

Because Canelo DOES NOT HAVE THE CONDITIONING!!! you ***git, if he beats him and Canelo has a glass mind THEN WHAT??? BOXING will have 0 attractions, that fight must be made with the right timing, the cake is baking you homo.

How long has Marquez been learning English because it is excellent for a late learning 2nd language speaker?

The fact that JMM will chase Pacquiao through multiple weight divisions for years and 4 fights, yet doesn't want a second fight with Floyd for way more money speaks volumes.

JMM is the truth, I hope he beats Bradley, that would be so huge for his career and his resume. He'd make history.

Damn, he straight up said "I don't want Mayweather, every one knows what happened in 2009." With a little smirk too.

It is so true what he said about Mares. Mares has been in my top 10 P4P list since he beat Moreno. I don't know why The Ring, which is supposedly biased to GBP fighters [Said by Anti-GBP fans], have Top Rank fighters like Donaire, Bradley, and Pacquiao still up there, as well as fighters who don't belong there like Broner and Guerrero..But then they don't have a true, proven champion like Abner Mares? He was there like for a week or two as #10 then immediately was taken off for no reason, he hadn't even lost his spot. When the list gets updated he better be there. Even if The Ring does no have him there, that does not matter he is one of the 10 best fighters right now, no doubt. Forget what any list says.
