''We have Victor Ortiz who is going to fight in September, he feels there is some unfinished business'' Schaefer said.

Those three don't belong in the same ring with Mayweather; it would be a Guerrero flash-back. If Garcia does win the tourney, though I'd change my tune quickly. I just don't see Garcia beating the Peterson/Matthysse winner.

None of those mentioned would be suited or ready for a fight in 2013, much less by September.

Mayweather vs Alvarez makes sense on September.

He doesn't mention them as Mayweathers next fight, he mentions them as future fights.

I've said it before if he stays Welter, I fight with Pacquiao even now would be better than **** like Ortiz 2

Ortiz needs to fight himself in contention to have any chance of selling that.

Khan might be more physically past his prime than Mayweather. That matchup is never going to work unless Khan proves himself against the best at JR WW.

Garcia should fight the winner of Mattysse-Peterson first before a Mayweather first gets discussed, but it's the best fight out of the three I guess but not a good option. Not many good option left. That's why the Canelo fight feels like it has to happen. What else is there? Alexander ain't looking too good, and never truly was. Bradley's been concussed and was a tough workman-like fighter with a few skills but never on the super elite level to match Floyd, nor is it good stylistically on paper the way at least Ortiz-Mayweather appeared to be. Pac just got stopped, but it's probably a sell-able fight by name. Pac is faded though, and nearing 35 which is nightmarish for a fighter with his style & attributes. I just don't see many options.

If Mayweather fights 172 lb Canelo in September, some folks need to sit their ass down and let him ride out the rest of his career as he sees fit.

Hope it doesn't happen. There is no one left @ 147 for Mayweather. Only if Garcia beats the winner of Mathysse vs Peterson and then I wouldn't mind Garcia vs Mayweather.

Ortiz needs to rematch Berto and Lopez or Maidana if he even wants to get considered....even then, I can't imagine suffering through an Al Access with Ortiz in it.

Khan needs to fight a good welterweight first, and Garcia needs to fight the Peterson/Matthysse winner first.

I don't know why they keep pushing Ortiz.

Ortiz is one of the most overrated fighters in boxing. He's one of the dumbest fighters in boxing. He's really not that good...and people need to start accepting that.

What he needs is fight Maidana again.

    Ortiz doesn't get ****. He's out.

Khan is the number 1 as he's has about a 0% chance of not getting KO'd against the next serous fighter he faces. Dude was getting his ass kicked against a shot Julio Diaz. Can't let another Prescott happen.

Garcia is in the Haymon clan, he isn't fighting FMJ.

Ortiz would put up a good fight... He would make Roberts performance look like ****! Ortiz got cheated last time... I hope the ref watches for the elbows this time.. Because last time Floyd was fouling Victor! Why do you think Victor did what he did?
