    i thought it took a LONG time for Floyd to fully control Guerrero. Robert had some solid counter punching each time when Floyd threw his lead power shots. I think Floyd finally got comfortable around round 8. Robert showed pretty good defense, and body attacks. He even cut the corners well but just couldn't break through Floyd's guard.

    Yes he did.


    JMM did so much better against Salido then Guerrero did tho! :hey

    Guerrero had a couple of advantages that were supposed to work in his favor.
    JMM had NONE.

    RG was pretty even with Floyd the first 4-5 rounds responding to everything Floyd threw, but by midfight he stopped pressuring. Only reason he could stop was he was feeling Floyd's power because RG after having so much success the intensity was gone. RG was boxing him the center of the ring! What happened to pressuring, man? Ruben Guerrero ****ed it up for RG. Kept repeating "uppercut, uppercut", but the things he had most success with like jabbing and attacking body wasn't brought up! RG was getting Floyd that way, but then started with the jabbing game with Floyd. Cmon man you aint beating Floyd that way, no one is.

    Yeah, he was tired of eating right hands. There were plenty of times he had Floyd in front of him and was tentative to do anything. Floyd was still popping him with flush leads right through his guard.

    Guerrero is younger/bigger & had two fights at 147lb, jmm had none at 140lb let alone 147lb.

    Yeah & he jumped from 135lb to 146lb at 37,I didn't see floyd taking risks & fighting Serg at 154lb,a place he's won two titles at.Maybe he'll finally take him on & drain him to 150lb now that he's vulnerable.

    Its fairly useless to compare performances, ghost and JMM come to the ring with two completely different styles and physical traits going in against Mayweather. As great as JMM is, he is much more suited for Floyd then Guerrero is given his size and counterpunching style. Ghost is larger and has the ability to try and make things rough in there. Not to mention this Floyd is older and looked out of it in the first two rounds, once he got warmed up he was making Ghost look stupid.
