"Tune-up fight" is probably a good answer.....but not sure who or what PBF is tuning up for.

I kept seeing a southpaw "Upchucking Wepner" out there last nite.

I think PBF is thinking 50-0 and retiring.

The puzzle is really where PBF and The Ghost actually rate, compared to what Napoles / Cuevas would have done to the PBF's set-up.

It is kinda like when they wheeled Jose "King" Roman out to be bounced off the canvas by George Foreman.

Foreman later asked if Roman could be removed from George's record....or at least reduced to the status of the "Toronto 5".

Mandatory, Floyd is so skilled that even those who earned the shot by winning titles on the rise still makes them look like a cherry pick..

he earned the right and Vegas started him out a 12 to 1 under dog.
he didnt fall short, he was practically shut out. RG fighting at 147 for "2" whole times coming, 0 fights at 140, a few at 135 and the rest 130 and 126.
had no business in the ring with a welterweight of 7 years and pound for pound king. belts aside, they mean nothing when you have between 8-10 per division

Floyd don't need to fight five more times, beat five champs, he just needed to fight Pac when he should have. Now it's too late. He won't move up in weight and history won't rewind.

    could have
    should have
    didn't

    This is Floyd's legacy

but he said himself he doesn't fight to prove who's best. he fights for money and to gain it as easily as possible. he has said all this himself. that's just how it is.

Gonna be real witcha bra I know *****s are gonna have a fit, but this is the truth, its about them sanctioning fees, you see the WBC love that Mayweather money that **** is for real.

So they are okay with who ever he fights they will find a way bend a rule here or there to get that money they will come up with some **** to justify such a fake rating, I mean for **** sakes who the hell is Andre Berto who has he beat?

and why the **** has he made that much money :huh anyways its all about the WBC getting their money... and with Floyd they make a higher rate than they would any lesser fighter in terms of star power...

Lets all be realistic here, RG was a prefectly acceptable fight for a guy coming off a jail term, the hardest fight of his career and a year long lay off.

RG is Floyd's mandatory and tbh Floyd really didn't want to fight Robert bc believe or not he is a good boxer. Any fighter that has a chin, heart and sheer determination is not going to be an easy fight.

I guarantee he would pose if not beat a lot of the big names like Marquez, Bradley, Ortiz and the 140s crop. If Robert was Pac's opponent, people would be hugging his nuts.

Surprised at how often I still see make believe comparisons between Floyd and Manny "Wake-up" Pacquiao. But just for arguement's sake, if Robert was Pac's opponent he probably wouldn't have lasted longer then 2 or 3 rounds. Anyone who is that wide open would get their head knocked off by the Pac Monster.
