Martinez at 154 would have been a great, career enhancing option, but looks like that ship has sailed. But really, any top 10 SWW is a step up from the names that have come up. You saw how much more of a challenge a past prime Cotto was, and that guy probably loses to at least 5 of the top SWWs, most of it badly

Just Alvarez. So many ships have sailed already, I'd at least like to see this one

and note, I'm ONLY naming one fighter, because the other options are LESSER options. With Floyd's history, if there is a lesser option that will satisfy the public (for the interim) he WILL opt for it

IMO if we exclude SWWs and Top Rank, Khan would be the best option. He's never in a dull fight, should be fun until the inevitable happens, and that'll probably make for a funny gif.

    Khan
    Garcia
    Matthyse
Pac (After he leaves TR at the end of 2014) I know you said no TR but w/e
    Canelo
    Brook
    Peterson
    Martinez at 154

That being said, I want him to stay at 147 though personally. He's truly amazing at that weight class and I want to keep seeing him perform at his best. Not at 154 where he's 20 pounds lighter than his opponent.
