Some ****ing lunatics on this thread jesus. Boxing overall is on the decline imo due to majority of major fights being limited viewing as nothing on terrestrial TV these days. American boxing should have more success as a lot more boxers to chose from and a lot more **** to get out of were as in the UK people no longer need to fight to survive as Goverment here ensures noboday is in that situation. Haye/Price/Fury(i cant stand him though) all fringe heavyweights Wilder the big American hype job but his best opponent to date is Fraudley for christ sake. Middleweights we have Murray/Macklin/Barker all fringe and 2 of them unlucky not to be title holders. We per population stack up well against most other nations what i dont get is all this **** of "You need to go to the states" WTF Americans dont and havent ever travelled as there **** scarred of coming to europe and probable like majority of Americans think the USA is the world and no need to go anywre else.
When someone has their country in their name, expect them to go bat **** crazy and menstrual on your ass, if you dis that country... Jus sayin
Good post, however thier were two shows last year that did more then 10000 atenndence,The Hatton comeback sold out the MEN aswell but people always seem to forget about that fight now. Also in the next 8 weeks we have two shows in the Uk that will do close to 20000 which is good.Like you said though the fight game in the US isn`t looking to bad at all at the moment
There is never a British fighter who's the best in his division? What a statement. Was hatton not the best at light welter for some years? Was Calzaghe not the best at super middle? Haye at cruiser? Lewis? Naz before he moved up in weight? As for taking the **** about how Brits look... Have I missed something or is everybody in America an Adonis these days? The land of the free and the home of the lard! And of course the guys who reporters question speak a little different to you. They come from a different country.
Everything everyone posts on here in terms of discussion is an opinion near enough. That's the whole point of a forum. If it's not bugging me about religion and how I talk it's this, starting an entire thread going berserk because I said something you don't agree with. It's even called "Response to Paulie" for ****'s sake. Why is there any ****ing need? You can start a thread on the subject all you want, but making a thread just to go mad at someone? Proper sad that. I did it once with Steve Bunce I think and made a bad tit of myself. Now you're doing the same.
the jist of your opinion was borderline racist i wouldnt be surprised if thats why the thread was deleted
Borderline racist? How did you work that one out? It absolutely wasn't intended to come across like that, it was just my view on the overall state of the sport in the respective countries. It's not like I used any offensives words. If it were racist then how come the mods haven't banned me or even give me a warning? ****ing get lost with that one. Can't believe so many are fuming about a bloody comment.
fair enough your opinion was probably just badly thought out and ignorant and i misunderstood your view. i thought borderline because of that fact you were saying boxing was failing in the US due only to hispanic and black people supporting it as if that was a bad thing when its about 150 million people. it felt to me you were saying its not as significant compared to if it was the same number of white people. edit - you also made some fairly crackpot comments on american sports fans, why british fighters shouldnt go to america and why british boxing is booming compared to america. its a shame the orginal got deleted
Bunch a sweetie wives on here. Hand bags down ladies. If you make time to sift through the shite there is a good knowledge of boxing on these forums aswell.
