I just wonder if Pacmans power will still be a factor in the Higher weights if he adds more bulk and muscles in his arm.. Maybe enough to hurt Hoya or Hattons jaw?

A great deal of Pac's power is tied into his speed.

So far he has retained his power moving up but fighters will hit that wall and have no effect against bigger fighters. Pac is exceptionally strong but I don't think so.

For each weight class he climbs, his power will decrease.

If the equation was as simple as adding bulk to increase power, then every fighter north of 160lbs would be attempting a run at heavyweight where the money is.

Its about maximizing your power at the lightest weight you can fight at effectively. Boxing is and always has been like this.

he still has his speed, he usually comes at below 150 lbs during fight night but if he did go over 150lb during a fight i don't know if he'll still have the same power against bigger guys. But I've read somewhere that he sparred with some light WW guys and he hurt them and did KDs but those guys weren't elites.

And by his own admission he's a great deal slower than he was at 112. :good

He will still be fast but not as strong when he fights Wladimir Klitchko (of course he has to fight DLH and Roy Jones first).

Pac KO2 over Klitchko. Remember what happened last time Wlad fought a quick southpaw. It's the Sanders fight all over again. Then Pac will unify the titles, and go down the G.O.A.T.

None of that until Pacquiao fights Puritty or Sanders, who have unavenged victories over Wlad and loom ominously over both the heavyweight and p4p picture! :nono

Also, he needs to stop ducking Spadafora and Margarito.

OK. I know a lot of people believe this, but nobody loses power when they add weight. And if the weight comes in muscle mass is even better. But its physically impossible to lose power by gaining weight. You may lose speed. The problem is not that you are losing power, the problem is you are fighting bigger guys who can take whatever power you may have.

His power will increase when he adds muscle and bulk. But the higher he goes up in weight, the amount of power increased is less and less (even though he's still increasing power). This is because his speed will go down which counterbalances the power gained from having increased muscle mass.

Pacquiao can gain as much weight as he wants, and he will increase his power at each higher weight up to the point where he's probably gaining fat instead of muscle.

But the most important thing is that eventhough he gains power at each higher weight, his increase in power is less and less. At some point (perhaps at 140 lbs. or 147 lbs.) his power will be just the same or less compared to the average fighter at those weights (eventhough he's actually increased his power from where he is right now at 130 lbs.). If Pacquiao increases his weight to 172 lbs., he will have more power than at 147 lbs and 130 lbs., but he will be likely less powerful than the average boxer at 172 lbs.

There is no way around it, unless he can increase his height and skeletal frame.

of course not. Once his body has fully matured, as he moves up in weight his power will diminish relative to the weightclass.
