Bradley stylistically will be the most difficult fight but I don't see anyone at 147 or 155 pounds beating Floyd.

Pac is scary. Especially with the right style match-up.

    Hatton KO — :yikes

To answer the thread title, I actually think Amir Khan's youthful speed and reach would match well against FMJ, and his chin might stand up, but he lacks the skill to beat him. If FMJ weren't successful on the outside, I think he could slap Khan silly from in the pocket, and easily win any inside battles. Khan could certainly take a few of the early rounds.

nobody, unless he fights on for longer than he needs to or has planned to

khan would get demolished by floyd,as he would by guerrero

khan just wants a big payday before he gets found out again

To beat Floyd you need a fighter with incredible stamina levels, a good jab and consistent and effective lateral movement. There is no welterweight matching that description at the moment.

Manny had as good a chance as anyone a couple of years back (hence the clamour for the fight) but that ship has sailed. ODLH had a good stab at it but he was too old to keep the game plan up for the duration of the fight.

If Floyd goes up in weight then there's the possibility that someone may be able to walk through his punches and do some damage but I doubt the extra 7lbs would take enough from Floyd's reflexes to make it that much of an advantage for the opponent. So I think we're just waiting for him to get old to be honest.

For those saying Pacquiao I really dont know where this is coming from, there is doubt over Pacquiao as a top ranked WW let alone a potential to beat Floyd Mayweather.

At 147 there is nobody who could / would beat Mayweather, Keith Thurman is obviously the new hope coming through in the division, Bradley is a champion in the division, Alexander, Matthyse, Berto, Zaveck all top guys who do not have the skill set to beat Mayweather. Danny Garcia is tight at 140, expect him to be at 147 in his next 2-3 fights maybe sooner, again, not good enough for Floyd.

An interesting one is Erislandy Lara, who claims he can fight @WW but chooses not too, but ............... would Mayweather fight him?

Saul Alvarez is a great fight because of his size and punching power, but is it unfair to suggest Mayweather is running scared of a guy who is essentially 3 weight classes above Floyd come fight night? But right now I see nobody at 147 who can beat him.

Compare this to 2008-2009 when we had Mosley, Margarito, Pacquiao, Cotto & Paul Williams waiting in the wings.

Snr said in one of the ifilm videos they were looking at paul Spadafora. a fight which easily sells to the floyd fans (the casuals). if it actually happened it wouldnt surprise me at all.

I could actually see amir khan being at least even on the cards until the inevitable happens
