    Mares would be schooled if he faced the guy Nonito faced too. Let's not get carried away.

    Terrific performance though and he has to be p4p listed now.

    Not for beating Ponce per se, but for his recent work in general and the fact that he just went up yet another division and beat a Top 5 opponent there. Pretty damn convincingly with two KD's and the barrage that ended it. A lot of people already had him P4P prior to Saturday night.

    Building an impressive resume by fighting the best, seems like a cool guy and is in exciting fights. What's not to like?

    Clearly top ten p4p. Compare his resume to somebody like Broner who is getting praised for beating average fighters, there is NO comparison as to their level of opposition.
