Good fight chisora might not be the most skillful but he is very tough haye hit him with a beaut left hook then when he got up he hit him with 4 big shots right on the button and he still beat the count, will be interesting to see wilder go a few rounds will he be fustrated and make mistakes has he got stamina would anser alot of questions
This fight has been tipped for a couple of weeks now for the show in June, so it's not just online talk. Was pretty close to being signed last week.
The **** have you three been watching? Wilder is terrible! Very much doubt GBP take this fight and if they do Chisora has far too much for him. Chisora on a comfortable points win or late KO.
all depends how much Chisora has left in the tank. He's taken some beatings the last few fights.Took punishment against Fury,Vitali and was starched by Haye.
Understandable considering a long layoff, late signing for the fight and a general lack of motivation (as evidenced by interviews leading upto the fight). Nothing to suggest he's "shot", and based on previous performances we know he's a very decent operator. I never suggested Chisora would bomb Wilder out. However, there are questions surrounding Wilder's chin/stamina, the stamina questions are of course raised by the fact he hasn't been taken deep into a fight. Not to make Chisora into a "well prepared Kevin Mitchell" type but the motivated Chisora we saw against Vitali and Helenius keeps his workrate well into the late rounds. A knockout isn't beyond the realm of possibility, but it would come late in the fight after grinding Wilder down, hence my "late KO" suggestion. PS: apologies if my initial reaction was a bit on the nose but i've been reading posts about Wilder in the general and some of the hype and comparisions to previous greats has me shaking my head in disbelief.
Did you see his last performance before fighting Helenius? He put in six disinterested rounds in points win over some nobody in Halifax. Del is an enigma, but he comes to fight when it matters. It'd be interesting to see the betting markets for this one. It's very difficult to tell how Wilder will hold up being made to work for longer than four rounds and from somebody who's been a tough night's work for much better fighters. I'd back Chisora.
