Can Chad Dawson move up to Heavyweight?

I've read that he plans to, eventually, barring any career destroying setbacks.

You have to believe that is always in his mind, considering Adamek's success at cruiser and hw.

 

He's only 6'1 though, not the biggest frame for a heavy, why though?

He could get some money fights at heavy but he won't get near a title. Better to make interesting fights at cruiserweight and spark American interest in the division. Dawson vrs. Chambers would be a very interesting fight down the road.

 

He shouldn't. I wouldn't recommend cruiserweight, either. Definitely no more super middleweight.

Chad ain't no 6'1". Hopkins is 6'1" and Dawson had a good couple of inches on him. He's got the frame to be a solid hw but the big question is his chin.

 

Dawson would get knocked out the first time he fought a heavyweight in the top 20!

 

But Rocky Marciano was only 5'10 and was dropped by middle weights but he still was the greatest fighter ever so why can't Chad Dawson do it when he is naturally bigger than Marciano?

 

Do you really want to watch Dawson fight Vitali or Vladimir Klitschko? Would you bet your money on Dawson?! What a joke!
